Welcome to Scentsibilities, Herbal Education & Apothecary, located at 750 Main Street, Boylston, MA. Yes, we have changed! The retail store closed at the end of 2012 and is no longer open for retail operation.
We have not gone away however and are as busy as ever. The focus of the store is now on education and the herbal apprenticeship and workshops are continuing. During 2013 we had a number of new offerings as we expand our teaching to bring as many people as possible in to the "world of herbs". Workshops for 2014 started in March and we have a wonderful variety of classes, including the Family Herbalist Series. See the Workshop section for detailed information.
We are still selling dried herbs and teas as part of the education offerings and you may order by phone or email. See the Product Ordering section for more information.
Look forward to seeing everyone at classes this year!
We had a great plant sale over the Memorial Day weekend, thanks to everyone who stopped by for some herbs. It was great to see you all!
There are still plants in stock as listed below, and once the stock is gone that will be it so get your plants now. Our herbs are certified organic plants from Gilberties in CT along with some from my own garden, which are also grown organically.
Basil, Genovese (few plants remaining)
Borage, Blue Flowering
Marigold - Lemon and Red Gem
Parsley, Curled and Italian Large Leaf
Rosemary, Tuscan Blue
Jeanette is at the store on Wednesday afternoons from 12-4 to purchase plants or email Linda at Linda@scentsibilities.com with what you would like and we will make arrangments for you to pick them up.
The store is now pretty empty but there are some remaining items and they are all discounted at 50% off. So do some bargain shopping for gifts or treat yourself while you're here.
Aromatherapy Certification Class
The European Aromatherapy Level I and II Certification classes taught by Linda Patterson has been scheduled for 2014. We are very fortunate to have Linda teaching in this area and these fantastic classes delving into the world of aromatherapy. Space is limited in both classes so register early. If you have taken Linda's Level I class at any time, or at a different location, you can sign up for Level II. See the Aromatherapy Workshop section of the website for detailed information on both classes.
Visit My Blog I set up a blog when I realized I can't include everything in the monthly newsletter and people seem interested in my herbal "doings". I've had some starts and stops but hope you will check it out. I find it is a great medium for posting pictures and updates of my new herb garden, sharing recipes, and talking about all things herbal. See my recent entries about the current Fire Cider controversy going on in the herbal world.

See us on Facebook! We now have a Facebook page at Facebook.com/Scentsibilities. There is a way to put a neat little LIKE button here, but after trying to figure out the instructions for way too long I've given up for a bit. So you'll have to go there the old fashioned way by typing it in, but please do check it out and LIKE us.
About Us At Scentsibilities, the focus is on herbal plants and products. Opened right before Christmas 2002 by herbalist Linda Russell, the store consisted of a small selection of dried herbs, essential oils, herbal teas and candles. How we grew over 10 years! At the begining of 2013 the retail store closed as we focus on education and providing an herbal apothecary of herbs and teas. Education in the form of workshops and an herbal apprenticeship are offered throughout the year also and we are always looking for new topics so if you have an interest, please let us know.
