I am enjoying retirement in 2015 and tying up the last of the loose ends at the store. Who knew how much work it was to close a business? As I clean out the remaining store items, I am putting the remaining inventory and furniture on Ebay and Craig's list. See the Ebay Sale Items and Furniture & Fixtures tabs for links to items. If there is anything you are interested in, email me and make an offer.
Jeanette Allen, herbalist and right-hand person here at the store who many of you know (and love), has taken over the herb and tea business. Her new company, Herbs, Teas & Treasures continues to supply our high quality organic herbs and teas. She will be running the business from her home and orders can be placed through her website, www.herbsteastreasures.com, and shipped directly to your home.
I am thrilled that Jeanette is continuing the business so that quality herbs and teas are readily accessible in the Central Mass area, which was always my goal. I will be continuing with teaching and speaking at outside organizations and continuing my work with the Herbal Community of Central Mass and Herb Society of America.
Many thanks to all the wonderful customers I have met over the last decade and all of you who have continued to support us through my retirement transition. It has been a pleasure to know you all and I hope we continue to see each other on our herbal journeys.
Visit My Blog I set up a blog when I realized I can't include everything in the monthly newsletter and people seem interested in my herbal "doings". I've had some starts and stops but hope you will check it out. I find it is a great medium for posting pictures and updates of my new herb garden, sharing recipes, and talking about all things herbal. See my recent entries about the current Fire Cider controversy going on in the herbal world.
See us on Facebook! We now have a Facebook page at Facebook.com/Scentsibilities. There is a way to put a neat little LIKE button here, but after trying to figure out the instructions for way too long I've given up for a bit. So you'll have to go there the old fashioned way by typing it in, but please do check it out and LIKE us.
About Us At Scentsibilities, the focus is on herbal plants and products. Opened right before Christmas 2002 by herbalist Linda Russell, the store consisted of a small selection of dried herbs, essential oils, herbal teas and candles. How we grew over 10 years! At the begining of 2013 the retail store closed as we focus on education and providing an herbal apothecary of herbs and teas. In 2014 Linda retired and closed the store entirely and is now focusing on speaking engagements, involvement in various herbal communities and having time to work in her garden!
